What is the People’s Factory and what about it?
If you want to find out, you can visit us on Saturday, April 20th from 12.00 noon and have a look around. We invite everyone, regardless of age, mainly curious, courageous, interested, playful, children – with or without parents – and parents – with or without children!
For the children and those who have remained children, we will prepare a few experimental spots. So the Eggbot (a robot that is especially good at painting eggs) will warm up on this day, the Laser Cuter will cut out Easter baskets or Easter stamps and maybe the AxiDraw – another drawing robot – and the 3D printer will join in. If you don’t have an Easter nest yet, you have the chance to make a great one yourself that day. If you would like to have eggs painted, please bring either empty or hard-boiled eggs (we have food-safe pens). The only thing missing is the brilliant idea of what the Eggbot should paint on the egg or what the Easter nest should look like. But we are quite confident that it will not lack at this.
Of course, on that day we also explain the vision, the fascinating machines, like 3D printer, CNC milling machine and all other computer controlled devices, how the People’s Factory works and answer all other questions you might have.
We are looking forward to a great afternoon and many, many curious people!
